Graveside services for Mary Louise Bowden, 85, Lawrence, will be at 11am Thursday at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowden died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at the home of her daughter in rural Douglas County.
She was born May 4, 1925, in Allyn, Wash., the daughter of John and Louise Olsen West. She attended schools in Allyn.
Mrs. Bowden was a Navy-certified welder. She was a homemaker.
She married William Shrives Van Horn. They later divorced
She married Clarence J. Bowden. They later divorced.
Survivors include a son, Michael and wife Robin, DeSoto; a daughter, Katherine DePriest, Lawrence; two brothers, John West, Loma Lynda, Calif., and Larry West, Northern; sister, Martha Darlion, Pacorma, Calif., five grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
