A visitation for Daren Jerome Walker, 46, Lenexa, will be 6-8 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. He passed away October 1, 2013.
He was born in Lawrence, KS, where he graduated from Lawrence High School, and was a resident of Johnson County for many years. His hobbies included restoring old furniture and tinkering with old cars.
Survivors include his father, Clarence David and wife Theresa Ann Walker, Lenexa, KS; his mother, Joyce Jessie and husband Ronald Lawrence Potter, Kansas City MO; two brothers, David Eugene Walker, Lawrence, KS, and Deron Potter, Kansas City, KS; a sister Starla Potter, Kansas City, KS; three children, Rashai Courcncy Plymber, Lawrence, and Bria and Darrien Walker, Kansas City, Kansas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
His brother, Wayne Anthony Walker, preceded him in death.
