Inurnment services for LoRene K. Jensen, 93, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Jensen died Saturday October 8, 2011, at her home.
She was born April 6, 1918, in Perry, OK, the daughter of Otto and Effie Brewer Hirschman. She attended school in Perry. After school she became a Nurses Aide.
She met Charles Edwin Jensen while working at a Hospital in Halsted. They married Oct. 6, 1957 in Perry, OK. He proceeded her in death on June 13, 1979.
She was a member of the Rebecca’s and the United Methodist Church. In her free time she enjoyed traveling and bowling.
Survivors include two sons, Steven Jensen and wife Deena, Baldwin City, and Kevin Jensen and wife Gerie, Alabaster, AL; three grandchildren, Hollie Masten and husband Robert, Oak Grove, MO., Samantha Melton and husband Adam, Lawrence, KS., Britteny Holloway, Alabaster, AL. and two great-grandchildren; Kayla and Autumn.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Grace Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.
