A memorial service for Todd David Harrison, 54, Lawrence, will be at 11am on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.
He died January 10, 2017, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Todd was born June 13, 1962, in Flint, Michigan, the son of David Lee and Carol Dian Taggart Harrison.
He graduated from Davison High School. Todd attended the University of Michigan and graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems. He spent much of his career as an IT Consultant and helped many Fortune 500 companies implement SAP Software. He worked for many consulting firms and finished his career at SCT Software.
Todd was a loving father and husband. He supported his son Matthew whether he played Soccer, Swam on the Swim Team or played in the band. He was also active in Matthew’s Boy Scout Troop, 59. Todd was the ultimate handy man. No matter what was broken, he could fix it. Even when he didn’t have the knowledge or time to do it himself, he would review what had been done and many times found things that the “professionals” had not done correctly. Todd enjoyed working on his 1978 Ford Truck. He and Matthew would spend hours in the garage fixing or replacing many different parts. He always said it was his therapy. Todd also enjoyed fixing and riding his motorcycle.
Todd married Mary Lynne Hahn on February 24, 2001 in Keystone, Colorado. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his son, Matthew Harrison, Lawrence; his sister Stephanie Croteau (Brent), Kalamazoo, MI and his parents, Lupton, MI.
He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A visitation will take place from 6pm to 7:30pm on Friday, Janurary 27, 2017.
