Walter Wayne Englebrecht

Graveside inurnment for Walter (Bill) Wayne Englebrecht, 81, Eudora, will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Eudora Cemetery, 2229 N 1420 Rd, Eudora, KS 66025.

Bill died Sunday, April 7, 2024, at home.

He was born August 6, 1942, in Chanute, KS, the son of Walter and Madena Englebrecht. He graduated from Eudora High School in 1960. After graduation he worked as a meat cutter at the Eudora grocery store. In 1970 he joined Operating Engineers Local 101 and worked for many different construction companies before retiring in 2003. After retiring he was a full-time RV’er for 13 years and volunteered for the Corp. of Engineers at Clinton Lake before settling back home in Eudora, KS.

He married Sharon Kay Corbin on May 3,1963 in Lawrence, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his son, Kenny (Lisa) Englebrecht of Eudora, grandchildren, Brandon (McKenzie) Englebrecht of Muskegon and Connor Englebrecht of Eudora, 2 great-grandchildren, Reagan, and Colter Englebrecht, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sharon Jean Noble.
