Albert Richard Burns

Visitation for Albert Richard Burns, 42, Bonner Springs, will be from 5-8 pm, Friday, February 4, 2022, at the Leavenworth County Fair Grounds in Tonganoxie.

Albert Richard Burns, son of Ricky Jim Burns and Brenda Marie Burns and Dennis Michael Hect.  He was born November 2nd, 1979 in Kansas City, Kansas.  He departed this life Friday January 21st, 2022 suddenly and peacefully in Kansas City, Missouri at the age of forty-two years, two months, and nineteen days.

He was preceded in death by his natural father and his maternal and paternal grandparents, his Aunt Helen and Uncles Doyle, Wayne, and Lynn.  As well as his life long friend, Colby Folsom.
He is survived by his three children, Conner J. Burns (girlfriend Samantha Parker, Emma L. Burns of Gardner, KS and Serenity Dawn of Independence, Missouri.  His parents Dennis M. Hecht and Brenda M. Burns of Bonner Springs, KS.  One brother Jeremy L. Harris (Rozie) and their 4 sons Austin Lee, Garrett Lee, Cooper Lee, and Waylon Lee of Tonganoxie, KS and lots of cousins and friends.  Also, two wonderful ladies that loved Albert as their own Christine Smith of Miami, Florida and Bobbie Webber of Lawrence, KS.
Albert went to Basehor-Linwood High School where he participated in the sports of baseball, football, and wrestling.  He loved being outside, especially if he was fishing or canoeing.
He worked in the concrete business then decided he liked dumpster diving and started a recycling business.  Ace’s (Albert Conner Emma Serenity) Metal Recycling.  He loved every minute of recycling and his kids loved to go with him along with grandma and a fun time was had by all.  He loved to spend time with his kids, they were his world.
Albert never met a stranger.  He talked with everyone and always made them smile.  He cared deeply about the homeless, He would give his last dollar to them anyone who was in need of it.  He had a big heart and will be sorely missed.  He accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior years ago and loved to read his bible daily.
